About the Author
Imagine a little girl, barefoot, with sand in her hair, wandering through the quiet streets of an old neighbourhood in Cairo. That little girl was me…
I grew up between Beirut and Cairo before life carried me to Montreal, Paris, London and, eventually, Madrid.
Travelling has shaped the way I see the world. I have always been drawn to the small things that often go unnoticed—a smile exchanged between strangers, the quiet beauty of nature, unexpected conversations, and the countless stories hidden in everyday life.
Those moments continue to inspire everything I create.
As a child, I loved inventing imaginary worlds where humour, curiosity and a touch of absurdity could exist side by side. Years later, I realised that writing and composing had become two different ways of telling those stories.
Today, whether through a novel or a song, my hope remains the same: to create worlds that invite readers and listeners to dream, to smile, and to rediscover a little wonder in everyday life.
Becoming a mother profoundly changed my creative world. It gave my stories and music a deeper sense of purpose, reminding me that hope, imagination and kindness are often at their most powerful when life feels uncertain.
That belief continues to guide everything I create.
